Britain publishes three inflation numbers and they do not agree. The ONS bulletin for September 2026 read CPI 3.5%, CPIH 3.6%, RPI 3.9%.
CPIH is the ONS lead measure: CPI plus the housing costs of owner occupiers. RPI adds mortgage interest, house depreciation and Council Tax. It stopped meeting international standards in 2013 and lost National Statistic status; index-linked gilts keep it in use.
The three drift apart when prices move. October 2022 read 11.1%, 9.6% and 14.2% in the same month. On CPIH, £1 of 2015 spending buys 69p today. Housing is the largest line in most household budgets, so CPIH is what this page charts.

LLMs make no architectural distinction between 'instructions' and 'data' (both are tokens on the same stream), so there is no clean equivalent to parameterized queries.

That is the whole problem. An injection arrives as an ordinary string inside a web page, a PDF, a tool result or a stored memory, and nothing in the model marks it as data.
Once output drives tools, the blast radius leaves the chat window: files, shell, mail, cloud APIs. Memory makes it worse, because an injection written to a store returns in every later session. OWASP's 2026 list ranks prompt injection first.
A report worth reading contains the input that reproduced the behaviour, what the system did with it, and a fix that still holds when the input is tried again.

The price on the box is the front door. The profit sits behind it. In FY2025 Apple's products ran at a 36.8% gross margin, barely changed from 36.5% two years earlier. Services ran at 75.4%, up from 70.8%. Blended, the company kept 46.9 cents on every dollar of revenue.
That split also shapes the storage ladder. It makes a phone sale two sales: the device, then the account, the storage and the subscriptions attached to it. It is also why a higher sticker price can still be a lower real price.
